In the summer of 2025, he was a finalist, audience prize winner, and one of the top three competitors at the 33rd St. Albans International Organ Competition, considered the most prestigious organ competition in the world. He has also been a finalist in two major American organ competitions (Longwood Gardens, Elizabeth B. Stephens organ competition).
Wallius performs regularly as a solo recitalist across Europe, as well as in collaboration with choirs and various ensembles. Highlights include soloist performances of Saint-Saens Organ Symphony with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ERSO) and Rautavaara´s Organ Concerto with Academy Winds.

SUOMEKSI:
Aleksanteri Wallius (s. 1999) on monipuolinen suomalainen urkutaiteilija. Hän on
opiskellut Sibelius-Akatemian urkujensoiton maisteriohjelmassa Markku Hietaharjun
urkukonsertossa Musiikkitalossa Academy Windsin solistina.
Kauden 2024–2025 kohokohtiin kuuluvat esiintymiset mm. Bambergin
konserttitalossa, Tukholman suurkirkossa, Helsingin Musiikkitalossa sekä Rouenin
St. Ouenin luostarikirkossa.
Walliuksella on erityinen kiinnostus 1800–1900-lukujen sinfoniseen urkumusiikkiin
sekä teosten sovittamiseen ja sovitusten esittämiseen. Syksyllä 2020 hän esitti kaikki
Louis Viernen kuusi urkusinfoniaa yhden päivän aikana Turun tuomiokirkossa.
Kesäkuussa 2025 hänen sovituksensa Carl Orffin Carmina Buranasta uruille,
kuorolle, lyömäsoittimille ja solisteille sai ensiesityksensä loppuunmyydyssä
Helsingin Musiikkitalossa.
Tällä hetkellä Wallius suorittaa taiteellista jatkotutkintoa (”Meisterklasse”) Leipzigin
musiikkikorkeakoulussa professori Martin Schmedingin johdolla.
